Located in Ballinamona, County Waterford, this project features a 50kg dumbwaiter SKG installed to serve the ground-floor and first-floor kitchen of a private residence. The homeowner required a practical solution to transporting shopping and household items upstairs without relying on the staircase.
The property also presented tight headroom restrictions, which ruled out standard dumbwaiter designs. To overcome this challenge, we installed a bottom drive traction unit with the motor positioned in the ground-floor garage. This configuration resolved the height limitations and allowed all future maintenance to be completed without entering the main living areas.
The dumbwaiter was finished in a custom black RAL colour, selected to match the home’s modern kitchen design and provide a consistent look throughout the space.
